Who Loves Passion For Life?
Kids, Parents & Schools

We are so grateful to I Love the Outdoors for sharing their passion with Scarborough Middle School students. Through hands-on enrichment activities like ice fishing, shed hunting, surfing, and skiing, students are gaining real-world experiences that spark curiosity, confidence, and a love for learning beyond the classroom. Their passion for the outdoors and for life itself shines through everything they do.

We loved having Allagash George and his volunteers visit our school to teach the students about rock hounding and geocaching.  These activities were perfect for kids ages pre-K to grade 6 at our school and it was amazing to come together as a community and enjoy the outdoors together.

We are incredibly grateful to Passion For Life for their continued support and commitment to our students. Their ice fishing program was engaging, informative, and thoughtfully coordinated every step of the way.

Passion for Life (I LOVE THE OUTDOORS) changes kids’ life trajectories. When we invest in experiences that ignite curiosity and grit, we’re not just funding a program – we’re building resilient, capable young people who believe they belong in this world. We are granting experiences to those who otherwise wouldn't have them – allowing them to discover new passions they'll hold for life.
- Shane Smith, Mountain Valley Community School
George and his team were amazing teachers with a wealth of knowledge and patience that made the experience an unforgettable one for both me and my son.

The kids loved George and immediately wanted him back.

He kept them fully engaged and did a great job simplifying what for many is a complicated topic.

- Christina Byther, Teacher - Westbrook High School Compass Academy

My son left the experience being the happiest I had seen him in a long while.  On the way home he commented, “This was the best day ever!”  Thank you, George!

If it weren’t for my dad introducing me to the great outdoors, I wouldn’t be the person I am today.
I don’t think there’s anything more valuable, more life changing, than getting kids off electronics and into nature.  And there’s so much here in our backyard that most kids never discover.
- Joe Capozza, Volunteer - Falmouth

I was interested in everything he talked about and would like him to come back.
